Apparently, October is Mental Health Awareness month. I think it was plain old self-pity, though, that caused me to pick up a stress calculator test yesterday to see how I would score.

Last week, I took my first baby steps in looking for employment. I quickly found myself overwhelmed, and stopped. It’s probably good that I did, since I now know that a new job would have put me at 236 on the stress chart, only 80-something points away from dangerous levels!

And yet, my fantasy part-time job of tutoring in French still charms me. So, feeling slightly recovered, I took another, happier step. This flyer will be my new approach, and I wish it godspeed.
