Life Drawing. I dreaded the thought of taking this class, but now I am thoroughly excited about it. I’m finally going to learn to draw well! Every week, we have drawings to complete for homework.
In Class
The dread factor was directly related to drawing from nude models. I’ve talked to people about this practice, and everyone seems to believe differently. Thanks to the teacher, students, model, and other factors, I can personally say that this is probably the most safe, honoring, natural, and beautiful context for drawing the nude that I could have asked for. Not everyone has that; I’m SO thankful for this class.
